A Day with My Favorite Six Year Old

Yesterday Camden and I got to spend a special day together. Kenna was away at church camp and Cullen was visiting Nana and Papa for a couple of days, so Camden and I enjoyed some one-on-one time.

We started the day by making blueberry muffins:

After breakfast it was time for Camden's swim lessons:

We came home after lessons and got ready for our lunch "date":


We went to a really fancy restaurant for lunch:

After lunch, we went to the dollar store. Camden picked out a pop rocks science experiment. When we got home he had a great time mixing the different solutions in the test tube and watching it bubble:

Last night we watched a movie with Daddy. It was fun to have the time with Camden, but this mother hen will be glad to have all my chickens under one roof tonight!
