This is such a great group of girls and I'm so grateful that God has blessed Kenna with them. Kenna loves candy and decided that would be the "theme" of her party this year. So, that of course meant a pinata. I was surprised at how excited a bunch of thirteen year olds were about a pinata. What surpised me even more was the way it all played out. We went outside and they all decided to hit the pinata gently the first time, so that everyone would be sure to get a chance. Then, when the pinata finally broke they all scrambled to get the most candy. After that, they came inside, separated all the candy, and divided it evenly amongst themselves, giving any extras to Cullen and Camden - such sweet girls!
To go along with the candy theme, Kenna reqested that her cake be covered in candy:
The girls stayed up ALL night long. I was shocked when I got up at 6:30 to find them still awake and ready for breakfast! Somewhere around 8:30 they decided to watch a movie and this was the result...
After staying up all night, Kenna spent most of the day of her actual birthday sleeping, but she did wake up to enjoy dinner at home with Nana and Papa and Aunt Jennifer and Uncle Kevin.
