Disney's Hollywood Studios

The next to last day of our vacation was a busy one. After breakfast at Chef Mickey's, we met Nana and Papa at Hollywood Studios. It was almost 10:30 by the time we got there, and there were already really long lines for all the popular rides.

We took the kids to the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Playground (there was no line here!). It's a re-creation of the scene from the movie where the kids are trapped in their backyard after they've been shrunk. Our kids loved this and probably would have stayed here all day:

Next, we caught the Beauty and the Beast stage show. It was really good and when we got home Cullen declared it to be his favorite show that we saw all week - no loud noises or special effects on this one!
After the show we took the Backlot Tour. Not the most thrilling ride, but it was interesting.

The kids met Mike and Sully from Monsters, Inc. and then we took a lunch break.

After lunch, we saw the Muppet Vision 3D show, which was pretty cute. From there, Nana found us a great spot to watch the afternoon parade, Block Party Bash. It featured Pixar characters and at one point the kids got to go into the street and dance with the characters. It was a lot of fun.

After the parade, Robert took the boys back to the Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Playground, while Kenna, Nana, Papa, and I rode the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. This was probably my favorite ride. Kenna wasn't too sure about it, but is glad she can say she did it.

At this point, we left Hollywood Studios and took the ferry to Epcot to catch a few rides that we missed when we were there on Monday. At Epcot we visited the Coca-Cola sponsored Club Cool, where they have free samples of sodas that are popular around the world.

Most of the sodas were pretty good, but the one from Italy was bitter, as Camden found out:

After we had our fill of soda, Robert took Kenna to Mission Space while the boys and I went back to a favorite from Monday, Spaceship Earth. There's a funny story about Camden from this ride, but it's not really appropriate to write about, so if you see me be sure to ask about it! Robert and Kenna declared Mission Space to be fun, but no big deal (there are two versions and they rode the "less intense" version), so we all went and rode it together:

After that Robert and I took turns riding Test Track and then we watched the park's closing fireworks show, Illuminations.
