Fun was had by all on our semi-annual camping trip with the Edens. We try to camp when the weather is nice, usually in April or May and in early October. This year it was a little later in October, so it was a little chilly at night - but the weather during the day couldn't have been much better.

We had a great campsite, right by the playground. The kids could go off and play, while the adults relaxed and talked at the site. Even though all four kids are over 5, their favorite activity seemed to be playing in the sand. As I'm doing laundry from the weekend, I'm finding sand everywhere!

We also had fun riding bikes around the campground:

Something new we tried this time was fishing. There was a stocked kids pond and thanks to Kevin's fishing expertise and the huge minnows that Kim decided to buy, we were fairly successful.

All the kids at least got a bite on their lines, and Cullen managed to catch a pretty big one. I think the most fun for him was throwing it back!
