Confessions of a Delinquent Blogger

I've gotten so behind on my blog! I guess I'll blame it on the crazy busy summer we're having, especially the past few weeks. We left on July 15th for a family vacation to Oklahoma. We returned home and then Kenna and I left 5 days later for a mission trip with our church youth group. We got home from that on Saturday and I got right to work on the laundry. This is the pile of clean clothes that was on my bed this morning:

I'm happy to report that the clothes are all now folded and I'm ready to start preparing for our next adventure - mine and Robert's trip to Peru, leaving this Friday!

We'll return from Peru on August 15th, a week before school starts. In the 31 days from July 15th to August 15th, I will be away from home 21 days. That means only 10 days at home, most of which has been spent recovering from one trip and preparing for the next. But, it's all been good stuff keeping me busy and I feel so blessed, so I'm not going to complain about all the laundry and packing. I hope to post about our Oklahoma trip and our mission trip before I leave on Friday, but it may have to wait until I get back...the pictures and computer aren't going anywhere - hopefully my memory will last long enough to record some of the highlights of those trips!
