After spending many nights in the last year sleeping like this to be closer to the rest of the family and safe from the monsters under his bed, Camden decided he wanted to redecorate his room with a monster theme - ironic, isn't it? Maybe he figured if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. At any rate, the new monsters in his room are very friendly and haven't caused any nighmares thus far. And he hasn't slept on the floor since the redo! Here's a shot of his new bedding that MeMe and CeCe gave him for his birthday.

The walls are a really unusual green color called "fiddleback fern". The color doesn't come across quite right in the pictures, but it really looks pretty good.
We made this wall art based on the monsters from the bedding. I drew them, Papa cut them out and primed them, and then I painted the details. I was pleased with how they turned out.

Nana and Camden had made the red pillow monster quite awhile back, before the room redo was even thought about - turns out it matches perfectly.
Nana made the green pillow monster based on one of the monsters from the bedding; I hear she has a few more in the works.
The orange "Mickey Monster" was the souvenier I brought back for Camden from my recent trip.
This fun bean bag was a gift from Aunt Tonya and family.

Thanks to everyone who contributed to Camden's new room - he's really enjoying it!
