Memorial Day Reunion

On Memorial Day weekend, we attended a reunion with my parents. The weekend brought together several families that my parents have been friends with since the early days of their marriage, living in Alabama. Over the years, most of the families from their circle of friends in Huntsville, AL have moved to Texas, so the get together was called the "TX-ville Reunion".



The reunion was held at the Trinity Pines Conference Center. One of the features there is a putt putt golf course and the kids couldn't wait to go "golfing" with Papa.

We also spent some time at the pool, since it was a very hot weekend!

Pure Joy!

On Sunday morning we had an informal worship service at the outdoor chapel.

Those in my generation played together as kids growing up, and one of the best parts of the weekend for me was watching our own kids have such a great time together.

Great weekend, great fun, great friends!!
