Thanksgiving Thankful Thursday

"Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good." Psalm 107:1

I know I'm a day late in posting this - but I have a good excuse. We got home around 9:00 last night from a week at Disney World! We had a wonderful trip and I have so much to be thankful for.

1. I'm thankful for health and safety on the trip.

2. I'm thankful for the beautiful weather we enjoyed all week. It only rained on us once, and that was only a very short sprinkle.

3. I'm thankful for my parents who made the trip with us. They were so gracious to let me direct everything and just followed where I wanted to go. They helped us keep up with the kids, rode rides with them, and did things with them while those of us who wanted to rode the "big" rides. I can't imagine having made the trip without them. Thanks, Mom and Dad!

4. I'm thankful for good attitudes. While we did have a few "incidents", for the most part everyone had great attitudes. I was especially proud of Kenna, who tried many of the big rides, even though she was a little afraid - she ended up loving the roller coasters.

5. I'm thankful for my husband. Robert has endured my maniacal planning and organizing for this trip for months now. He let me take the lead on where and when we did things and did his best to make sure the trip was all I had hoped it would be. I love you sweetheart!

6. I'm thankful for all the smiles, laughter, and wonder I saw from my children. Whether it was the thrill of a ride, the joy of seeing a character, the laughter at a funny show, or the wonder of all the amazing sights, seeing my children experience the "magic" of Disney is something I'll always treasure.

We took over 500 pictures and I hope to post a few of them over the next week or so, but I'll close this post with just one photo of us in front of the famous Cinderella's Castle.

Amy, I look forward to seeing more pictures. It was great hearing the stories from Kenna, Cullen and Camden last night.
The one thing I remember most from our trip to Disney World many years ago was "It's a Small Small World."
Kenna said it was one of her favorites too. I'm glad it is still there.
